DAY2
Creative Report #02
Murals involve a lot of critical skills and being an expressive artist as an individual encapsulate a lot of elements that might speak a different language in collaborative work. We share emotional strain that comes with being an individual in a space where your voice needs to be one with 29 other members.
The idea of one wall, one mural, one concept and 30 people involved with numerous technicalities to be observed to deliver as one is rather challenging for any artist, especially considering 30 types of personalities, it is not an easy task to achieve getting along mentally and physically in implementation, it takes clear understanding of the goal, dedication and a lot of creative maturity.
However it was thrilling to experience artists taking the challenges that comes with the project head on, by making communication key, dealing away with personal feelings attacked by paint brushes to emphasize their identity beyond artistry and saying that I am a professional, I am disciplined enough to deliver and hereby the Curator to my success on this project.
The progress made leaves a great deal to be desired and I’m looking forward to unraveling socioeconomic issues on biodiversity to influence eco cultural justice and this starts with making a personal effort to embrace your environment by contributing to activities that will advance its protection and preservation.
